When I first started out as a consultant in 2008, I was working with hospitality groups, local government, and A/E/C firms. Lunches were where the best ideas flowed. I would pull out a special pen, grab a napkin, and start sketching. It became my thing. The architects loved it.

Fast forward to today and I am still sketching every single day. The napkins have been replaced by specialty notepads and my Remarkable, which is loaded with custom templates.

One of the tools I reach for constantly is a simple funnel sketch page.

I use it to help entrepreneurs think through an idea, map it visually, and see how it connects.

“You should make it possible for people to have that. I think they’d find it valuable.”

So we did.

The Funnel Sketch Journal is a one sheet printable sketch page you can use for any idea. It is simple, clear, and designed to help you get what is in your head onto paper.

You can download it for free.

My hope is that you get into the discipline of mapping your thoughts and aligning ideas to your customer lifecycle funnel (CLF).

Because I still find the CLF to be the strongest foundation strategy out there.
